The club's own site says that trainings begin on 5 September 2026, on Saturdays at the Retkovec primary school (Aleja Javora 2), in two groups, that new members are enrolled all year, and that it offers private training for adults by arrangement. The about page prints the club's rooms at Aleja Blaža Jurišića 2 and says the club is named after the Gornja Dubrava area; its stated main task is promoting chess among primary and secondary school pupils. The Zagreb Chess Association's club list places the club in the 5th league section and the federation's member register lists it with 15 registered players for 2026.
